This might sound cheeeeesy, but my favorite thing about this summer has been starting a blog. It’s been challenging but fun, and it’s a creative outlet I really needed. Also all of the fresh local produce! (Is having two faves cheating?) Annnd no tests. Ahhhh. #ilovecollege
This summer, my husband and I visited a few national parks. They never disappoint! My favorite was definitely Carlsbad Caverns in New Mexico.

BBQ Club with my friends is my fave in the summertime! Each week someone takes a turn hosting and provides all of the food – you just bring your beverage of choice. It’s a lot of work when it’s your turn to host, but also lots of fun! We’ve had some amazingly delicious and creative BBQ’s! My favorite one so far was grilled homemade pizzas where you got to pick your toppings atop homemade dough & sauces & the host grilled ’em up! We might have to try one of those boozey La Croix’s at the next one! Yay summer!
If I win this my boyfriend will FLIP OUT. I love this summer because I moved into the coolest house, got a crazy kitten and it feels appropriate to eat all the ice cream! Go summer! All the La Croix please!

Favorite thing about summer? The way grass stains our little dude’s bare feet, the smell of my sunscreen rubbed off onto our lady babe head from her snuggling me all the time, late afternoon cocktail situation with my main dude on the deck with sun shining brightly most of the days. Summer is about smells, and sweet sunshine. Oh and like mentioned above, all the s’mores things we can make up.
